As a chiropractor serving San Marcos for over 28 years, Dr. Lewkovich has successfully evaluated and treated thousands of patients suffering pain and other symptoms from motor vehicle collisions, sports injuries and the everyday wear and tear of life. Dr. Lewkovich is among a select group of chiropractors who continue to obtain specialized training, certifications and further education to become a highly specialized and sought after medical professional. Some of his many accomplishments include:

  • Dr. Lewkovich's practice is over 80% personal injury work. In this area of specialization, his accomplishments are numerous. As the Chairperson for the California Chiropractic Association's Personal Injury Committee, he is responsible for assisting other chiropractors throughout California. As editor of the Personal Injury Review since 1998, he has written over 150 articles for the purpose of educating legal professionals about auto injury trauma. These articles include such topics as, analysis of Colossus in personal injury cases fighting unfair insurance practices, and effective documentation of PI cases.
  • Dr. Lewkovich completed several additional years of post graduate training to become a Chiropractic Orthopedist which allows the casting of simple fractures and lists him as a C.O. in the State of California Workers' Compensation system for Qualified Medical Evaluators. Additional post-graduate training resulted in certification for diagnosing and treating spinal injuries resulting from automobile accidents.
  • For nearly a decade, Dr. Lewkovich has served as the Chairperson of the Personal Injury Review Group, a statewide organization of chiropractic orthopedists focused on personal injury issues and continued education from specialists such as orthopedic surgeons, neurologists and personal injury /workers' compensation attorneys.
  • Dr. Lewkovich has acted as a consultant to the Southern California University of Health Sciences' Committee on Workers' Compensation Guidelines for Chronic Care where he provided much input on the consensus of guidelines for frequency and duration of chiropractic care in the post 90 day phase of treatment. He has also provided many recommendations and articles on the development of parameters in chiropractic care for workers' compensation treatment while serving on the California Chiropractic Association's Sub-Committee on the Guidelines Development for Workers' Compensation.
  • In addition to the daily hands on treatment of his many satisfied patients, Dr. Lewkovich is a sought after lecturer and seminar teacher to both legal and medical professionals, and has authored both the Whiplash and the Posture Handbook.

As well as his membership with Pacific Coast Injury Group, Dr. Lewkovich is a member of the California Chiropractic Association, American Academy of Pain Management, and the American Chiropractic Association.
